Alexandre Silva has a diverse work experience in the field of software development and engineering. Starting in 2015, Alexandre worked at InfoPortugal, Sistemas de Informação e Conteúdos, S.A. as a Junior Software Developer, where they developed a WebGIS platform for internal use with various viewing and editing tools for geographic data. Alexandre also implemented an API and Docker containers for project components using Django Rest Framework.
In 2018, Alexandre transitioned to the role of Senior Software Developer at InfoPortugal, where they focused on optimizing cartography production processes by automatically fixing geometries, validating metadata restrictions, and ensuring data topological validity using PostGIS.
