Mauno Karppinen currently serves as Chairman of the Board for both Viikin Monitoimitalo and Viikin Tennis Oy, positions held since September and March 2016, respectively. Additionally, Mauno has been the Housing Manager at Metsäylioppilaiden asuntolasäätiö sr since February 2008, and a Physical Education Teacher for Lohjan kaupunki since January 2007. Mauno holds a Master of Science (M.Sc.) degree in Sport Pedagogy from the University of Jyväskylä.
