Owais Ashfaq has a diverse work experience that spans several industries. Owais currently holds a role at YPO Great Lakes, starting in January 2021. Prior to this, Owais served as the Chief Executive Officer of LogX Group since May 2012. At LogX Group, they led a group of companies that supported over 500 businesses, processed over 2 million packages, and facilitated over $200 million in e-commerce sales between Canada and the USA. Owais also held senior management roles in accounting strategy at TD from October 2009 to November 2013. Owais began their career as a Senior Accountant at Deloitte & Touche LLP, where they worked from September 2006 to October 2009.

Owais Ashfaq completed their Bachelor of Commerce degree in Accounting & Finance from Ryerson University, attending from 2002 to 2006. Following this, they pursued a Chartered Accountant qualification from CPA Ontario, attending from 2007 to 2008. Additionally, Owais Ashfaq holds a certification as a Chartered Professional Accountant from the Chartered Professional Accountants of Ontario.
