Jason Adler M.D., CEDC, FACEP, FAAEM has extensive experience in the field of emergency medicine coding and reimbursement. Jason has held various roles in different organizations, including LogixHealth, where they currently serve as the VP of Coding. Prior to this, they worked as a Clinical Assistant Professor at the University of Maryland School of Medicine. Jason was also actively involved in the Emergency Department Practice Management Association (EDPMA) as the Co-chair of the Coding Quality Committee.
Additionally, Dr. Adler has been heavily involved with the American College of Emergency Physicians (ACEP). Jason has served as the Chair of the Coding Nomenclature Advisory Committee (CNAC), Chair of the ICD-10 workgroup, and a member of the Reimbursement Committee. Jason has also been a Counselor and a member of the Board of Directors for ACEP.
In terms of their experience at the University of Maryland, they held the position of Director of Compliance and Reimbursement in the Department of Emergency Medicine. Jason has also worked for Novitas Solutions, Inc. as part of the Carrier Advisory Committee (CAC). Prior to that, they served as the Vice President of Practice Improvement at Brault.
Dr. Adler has a strong background in emergency medicine, having worked as an Emergency Medicine Physician and Chief Coding and Reimbursement Officer at Emergency Medicine Associates. Jason also served as a Counselor to Management on Coding and Billing Reimbursement and as a Physician Coding Liaison.
Jason has extensive clinical experience as well, having worked as an Attending Physician in the Emergency Department and as an Assistant Medical Director at MedStar Montgomery Medical Center. Jason also briefly held the position of Vice President of Clinical Documentation Integrity at Alteon Health.

Jason Adler M.D., CEDC, FACEP, FAAEM completed their Doctor of Medicine (M.D.) degree at The George Washington University School of Medicine and Health Sciences from 2003 to 2007. Prior to that, they obtained a Bachelor's Degree in Sociology from The George Washington University from 1999 to 2002. In addition, Dr. Adler has certifications as a Certified Emergency Department Coder (CEDC) from the American Medical Association and as a Diplomate in Emergency Medicine, Board Certified from the American Board of Emergency Medicine.
