Bac Dang has a diverse work experience. Bac began as an intern at Bear and Brook Consulting Pty Ltd in 2012, followed by an internship at VIETSOVPETRO joint venture in 2013. In 2015, they started working as a Geoscience Domain Engineer at LogiGear Corporation, where they conducted quality assurance and worked directly with clients, specifically Halliburton Landmark. During their time there, they processed and evaluated various types of data for petroleum-related processes and workflows. Additionally, Bac completed their undergraduate degree from the University of Adelaide in 2015 and was previously involved in various leadership roles, including serving as the Vice-president of the OISP youth union and being a member of the SPE student chapter board at HCM University of Technology.

Bac Dang obtained a Bachelor's degree in Petroleum Engineering from the University of Adelaide from 2012 to 2015. Prior to that, from 2009 to 2012, they pursued their Bachelor's degree in Petroleum Engineering at Ho Chi Minh City University of Technology in Vietnam.
