Elena M. has extensive experience in programming and teaching, with a focus on UI and web development. As a UI and Web Programmer at The Game Band from August 2020 to June 2023, Elena M. led front-end engineering projects using React, React Native, and Typescript, architected the Blaseball live service game, and emphasized accessibility in application design. Prior experience includes a LiveOps internship at Wizards of the Coast, where Elena M. developed a prototype Alexa Skill, and roles as a teaching assistant at Girls Who Code and Greenlake School-Age Care Program, where responsibilities included instructing high school students in coding and supervising younger children. Elena M. holds a Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science from Loyola University Chicago and graduated from Holy Names Academy.
