Heather Barron has held two significant positions in their work experience. From January 2012 to August 2022, they served as the Hospital Director at the Clinic for the Rehabilitation of Wildlife. As of July 2022, they are currently working as the Chief Science Officer and Veterinarian at Loggerhead Marinelife Center.

Heather Barron attended The University of Georgia from 1989 to 1995, where they obtained a Bachelor of Science in Animal Science and Veterinary Medicine (BSA, DVM).
