David James is a highly skilled design engineer with a diverse background in engineering and design. At Loft, from September 2022 to June 2023, David contributed to a variety of projects, delivering design research and usability solutions that enhanced the company's iconic designs. Prior experience at Sikorsky, from July 2017 to May 2023, involved leading the overhaul of control laws automated formal qualification testing while working on numerous advanced projects. David's educational background includes a Bachelor's degree in Aerospace, Aeronautical and Astronautical Engineering from the University of Colorado Boulder and ongoing Master's degrees in Design Engineering from the Rhode Island School of Design and Brown University. Additional coursework includes engineering design for sustainability and other programs at prestigious institutions.
