Virginia Burlina has a strong background in fashion design, with experience working for top brands such as Loewe, Acne Studios AB, Burberry, and Dries van Noten. Virginia joined Loewe in 2021 as the Head Designer for womenswear shows. Prior to that, they worked at Acne Studios AB from 2019 to 2021, first as the Head Designer for womenswear and later as a senior designer. Before that, they were a Womenswear Designer for Burberry from 2018 to 2019. Their career started at Dries van Noten in 2014, where they worked as a Womenswear Designer for four years, collaborating closely with Dries Van Noten and leading research for the collection themes. Overall, Virginia Burlina has extensive experience in womenswear design and has held key roles in various renowned fashion houses.

Virginia Burlina completed their Master of Arts (M.A.) in Fashion Design from Hogeschool Antwerpen between 2010 and 2014. Prior to that, they pursued their undergraduate degree in Giurisprudenza, specializing in Studi di diritto internazionale, from Università degli Studi di Trieste between 2005 and 2010.
