Anyssa Fisher

Development Technologist at Locus Biosciences

Anyssa Fisher is a Development Technologist at Locus Biosciences. Anyssa has a background in manufacturing diagnostic test kits and conducting in-process assays in a GMP environment. Anyssa has also worked as a production analyst and was responsible for operating as lead analyst on various dry blend chemical batch formulation and liquid batch solution productions. In their previous role, they also improved the sensitivity and efficiency of various diagnostic tests through a series of developmental experiments.

In their most recent role at Locus Biosciences, Anyssa is responsible for enhancing production lab accuracy and efficiency by updating existing SOPs, creating SOPs for new projects, and creating protected excel sheets for data analysis. Anyssa also maintains detailed documentation records using inventory databases and established SOPs.

Prior to joining Locus Biosciences, Anyssa worked as an undergraduate research assistant at the University of New England where they characterized dopamine-opioid receptor interactions and gut-microbiome-brain axis in rats.

Anyssa Fisher has a Bachelor's degree in Biological and Biomedical Sciences from University of New England. Anyssa also has certification from Coursera in "Programming for Everybody (Getting Started with Python)" and certification from American Red Cross in "CPR & AED".

They are on a team with Alana Harvey - Development Technologist, Dalena Nguyen - Development Technologist II, and Carlos Cruz-Teran - Development Scientist. Their manager is Paul Kim, Chief Development Officer.
