Shawn Pile has a diverse and extensive work experience in the software engineering field. Shawn currently holds the position of Client Engineer Lead at Lockwood Publishing Ltd since November 2022. Prior to this role, they served as the CoreTech - Lead Engineer from April 2022 to November 2022 and as a CoreTech Senior Software Engineer from July 2020 to May 2022.

Before joining Lockwood Publishing Ltd, Shawn worked at Gory Detail Limited as a Senior Software Engineer from June 2013 to July 2020. Shawn was also the Software Director for a small two-person indie team, responsible for software and audio development.

Shawn's career began in 1996 at Rare Ltd, where they held the position of Senior Software Engineer for over 16 years, from July 1996 to September 2012.

Shawn Pile's education history begins in 1980, when they attended Pent Valley Secondary School until 1985. After completing high school, they pursued higher education at The Open University in 1989, where they participated in the M101 Mathematics Foundation Course for one year. Later, from 1991 to 1995, Shawn attended De Montfort University, where they obtained a BSc (HONS) degree in Computer Science and Mathematical Sciences.
