Samir Matta is a seasoned engineering professional with extensive experience in project management and business development within the public works sector. Currently serving as Vice President at Lockwood, Andrews & Newnam, Inc. since April 2013, Samir Matta oversees municipal projects for clients across Michigan, Texas, and California, while managing municipal teams in multiple offices. Prior to this, Samir Matta held roles as Project Director at Wilcox Professional Services, LLC., Public Works Division Manager at DLZ Corporation, and Project Engineer at the City of Lansing, where responsibilities included overseeing various engineering and environmental projects. Samir Matta began the career as Staff Engineer/Materials Testing Manager at Charles E. Raines, Co. Samir Matta holds both a Master’s and a Bachelor’s degree in Civil and Environmental Engineering from Wayne State University.
