Lisa May is a seasoned aerospace professional with extensive experience in space exploration strategy, business development, and technology management. Currently serving as the Deep Space Exploration Strategy & BD Lead at Lockheed Martin, Lisa is responsible for overseeing robotic science missions and leading growth initiatives in exploration science and commercial partnerships. Previous roles at Lockheed Martin included leading strategies for space nuclear systems, advanced technologies, and human space exploration concepts. Prior to Lockheed Martin, Lisa was the CEO of Murphian Consulting LLC, providing strategic consulting services to notable clients such as NASA and the UAE Space Agency. Lisa's earlier career at NASA spans over a decade in positions including Program Executive and Mars Exploration planner, where significant budget management and mission planning were key responsibilities. Lisa holds a Master's in Mechanical Engineering and a Bachelor's in Speech Communications from the University of Virginia.
