Peter Williams has a long and varied work experience, beginning in 1992 with a role as Sales and Inventory Control at Arnoldt Williams Music. In 2002 they moved to KPMG LLP as a Senior Associate, and in 2008 they took a Manager role at KPMG China. From 2010 to 2016, they held a number of roles at National Australia Bank, including Manager of Technical Services and Engagement, Mobile Applications Architecture, Payments Portfolio Solution Architect, and Technical Service Owner, Cards & Acquiring. In 2016, they founded medipass solutions, and in 2021 they became the CTO of Tyro Payments.

Peter Williams attended Grand Valley State University from 1997 to 2001 and graduated with a Bachelor of Business Administration in Organisational Information Systems.
