Shields Bialasik is an experienced entrepreneur and the CEO & Founder of LocalsGuide, a Southern Oregon-based hyperlocal print publication launched in November 2006, leveraging a unique web2print model to engage community members as citizen journalists. Bialasik co-founded Emperors Group, specializing in online publishing and training in Functional Medicine, from October 2009 to February 2013, and also played a key role as a co-founder in NewDocs LLC., a social network for dentistry, from January 2007 to December 2010. Additionally, Bialasik co-founded Passport2 LLC., a local tourism website and community portal, from October 2002 to August 2006.
