Candace Beres, MBA, is a seasoned communications professional with extensive experience in public relations, brand communication, and strategic communications. Currently serving as Senior Manager of Brand Communication at Loblaw Companies Limited, Candace has previously held significant roles including Senior Public Relations and Communications Advisor at NorthGuide, where support was provided to various high-profile clients, and Director of Communications at Carbon Removal Canada, where foundational communications strategies were developed. With a robust background at Communitech as Director of Strategic Communications, Candace has led strategic communication initiatives for numerous tech startups and key corporate players, while also managing media relations and crisis communications. Candace's earlier career comprised roles at Middle Child, Proof, and Edelman, among others, where exceptional results were delivered through integrated marketing plans and public relations campaigns for major brands. Candace holds an Executive MBA from Ivey Business School, a Public Relations Certificate from Humber College, and a Bachelor of Arts in History from Queen's University.
