Tomáš Plíhal has over 10 years of work experience in various roles within the manufacturing and automotive industries. Their most recent role is Chief Technical Officer & Co-Founder at LOBEY Laboratories since December 2021. Prior to that, they worked as a Quality Management Coordinator at Bosch Diesel Jihlava from September 2019 to November 2021. From October 2017 to September 2019, they were a Development Quality Engineer at Automotive Lighting Jihlava, where they were responsible for the development of quality for new projects and ensuring customer requirements were met. Tomáš also worked as a Product Manager at BioTech a.s. from August 2016 to January 2017. Before that, they were the Manager of Research and Development at Chemservis spol. s.r.o. from July 2012 to August 2016, where they conducted research and innovation of personal care products and household chemicals. Tomáš also has experience as a Production Technologist at Union Cosmetic in 2011.

From 2005 to 2011, Tomáš Plíhal attended the University of Chemistry and Technology in Prague (UCT Prague), where they obtained a degree in Inženýr (Ing.) with a field of study in Technologie potravin. Additionally, Tomáš Plíhal has obtained certifications such as Red X Apprentice from Shainin - The Red X Company in September 2021 and 8D Problem Solving from Formel D Group in December 2020.
