Susanna Kempe serves as the Chief Executive Officer of the Laidlaw Foundation, where the focus is on investing in the education of underprivileged and underrepresented individuals to break the cycle of poverty and foster leadership. Additionally, Susanna holds leadership roles as Chief Executive Officer and Trustee at the Laidlaw Opera Trust, advocating for accessible opera experiences, and leads Laidlaw Scholars Ventures, championing ethical business practices among Laidlaw Scholars. Susanna is also Chair of Laidlaw Schools Trust, aiming to enhance educational opportunities in the North East, and acts as Propolis Ambassador and Chair at B2B Marketing. Other responsibilities include serving as Non-Executive Director at the Fashion Retail Academy, Investor and Advisor at LOANHOOD and Musemio, and Founder of Flying Trumpets. Susanna previously held a Board Member position at Zapnito and received an education in Philosophy and English from the University of Cambridge.
