Sara Betancourt is a student at The University of British Columbia pursuing a Bachelor of Arts in International Relations and Affairs. Currently serving as a Work Learn Research Assistant, Sara conducts thorough reviews of Latin American forest policy literature and organizes data from various sources. Additionally, Sara coordinates outreach events for UBC UNICEF and manages fundraising efforts for UNICEF Canada. In the UBC International Relations Student Association, Sara directs events aimed at engaging prospective students in the field of international relations. Sara has also worked in various roles at Loafe Cafe, maintaining high customer service standards, and has previous experience as a receptionist at ECAB Group, a horseback riding instructor, and a class president in high school.
