Robert Crielly is an accomplished materials engineering professional with extensive experience in managing materials investigations and forensic engineering studies across Australia in the role of Manager Materials Engineering at LMATS Pty Ltd since February 2021. Prior to this, Robert held various significant positions, including Senior Materials Engineer at Subsea 7, where responsibilities included project engineering for subsea pipeline design and installation. Robert Crielly Consulting was operated as a consultant, and a lead role was fulfilled as Lead Materials Engineer for Qatar Petroleum on a severe sour service project. Notably, during tenure at GE Power, Robert managed materials and process engineering, and at Worley, served as Lead Materials Engineer focusing on materials and corrosion for major oil and gas companies. Robert's career began at Rolls-Royce, where 10 years were dedicated to managing materials failure investigations and warranty claims for gas turbines. Educationally, Robert holds a Master's degree in Materials Engineering from Robert Gordon University.
