Katherine Kelman has a diverse and extensive work experience. Katherine started their career as an Urban Fellow at the Governors Island Preservation and Education Corporation in 2005. Katherine then worked as a Project Manager for the New York City Economic Development Corporation, where they managed the redevelopment of city-owned properties and worked on the issuance of tax-exempt debt. In 2010, they were a Summer Development Associate at AvalonBay Communities. Katherine Kelman later joined The Wharton School, where they pursued their MBA and was elected Co-President of the Wharton Real Estate Club. Katherine was also the Vice President of Sustainable Real Estate and a member of the first-place team at the New York University Schack Institute Sustainable Real Estate Development Competition. Kelman then became the Vice President of Development at Extell Development Company, where they served from 2011 to 2015. Currently, they are the Managing Director at LMXD, an affiliate of L+M Development Partners Inc., a role they have held since January 2022. Prior to this, they served as a Senior Director and Associate Director at L+M Development Partners Inc. from 2018 to 2021 and from 2015 to 2018, respectively.
Katherine Kelman earned a Bachelor's degree with Honors in Political Science and Urban Studies from Stanford University in 2005. Katherine later pursued an MBA in Real Estate from the University of Pennsylvania from 2009 to 2011.
