Cherrie Bija currently serves as a Member of the Board of Trustees at Lloyds Bank Foundation for England and Wales and as Chair of Impact at BBC Children in Need since May 2022. In addition, Cherrie holds the position of Chief Executive Officer at Faith in Families - Swansea and Brecon Diocesan Board for Social Responsibility since November 2007 and is a Policy Council Member and Member of the Board of Trustees for Children in Wales since January 2011. Cherrie is also a Committee Member of the BBC Cymru Wales Charities Advisory Forum and has been the Board Chair for Swansea Council for Voluntary Service since October 2011. Previous roles include Committee Member at BBC Children in Need from September 2014 to September 2021 and Trustee for Wales Council for Voluntary Action until November 2018. Cherrie is pursuing a Doctor of Business Administration at Swansea University and holds a Master's Degree in Professional Practice from the University of Wales Trinity Saint David.
