John Babi has a diverse work experience spanning over two decades. John began their career as a Manager at John's Party Store in 1995, where they worked until 2006. Following this, they joined Ford Motor Company as a Financial Cycle Plan Analyst. In 2007, they joined General Motors, initially working as a Senior Buyer before being promoted to the role of Global Purchasing & Supply Chain Business Planner and eventually Global Commodity Manager. In 2015, they transitioned to L&L Products, where they held the positions of Director of Purchasing & Supply Chain and Director of Operations. It is evident that John has gained extensive knowledge and expertise in the fields of operations, purchasing, and supply chain management throughout their career.

John Babi pursued their Bachelor of Science in Business Administration with a concentration in Finance from Oakland University, where they studied from 2002 to 2006. Following this, they furthered their education at Kettering University from 2008 to 2011, earning a Master of Science in Engineering Manufacturing Operations.
