Lily Tang is a medical physicist and the founder of Liyfe, a startup that is developing a new cancer treatment. Lily has a PhD in medical physics from the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill. Lily has worked as a medical physicist at Memorial Sloan Kettering Cancer Center, Yale New Haven Hospital, and Yale Medical School. Lily was a member of the Y Combinator S20 batch company.
Lily Tang completed a dietetic internship at Massachusetts General Hospital before pursuing a postdoctoral fellowship in radiation oncology at Harvard Medical School. Lily later completed a second postdoctoral fellowship in radiation oncology at UC San Diego. Tang holds a PhD in electrical engineering from Rensselaer Polytechnic Institute and a master's degree in systems design engineering from the University of Waterloo.
