Visiedo, LLC starting in July 2015, President/CEO of Chancellor Educational Services from July 2006 to June 2015, Chairman of the Board of Chancellor Academies from March 1999 to April 2005, President of Haskell Educational Services from July 1996 to February 1999, Superintendent of Schools at Miami-Dade County Public Schools from October 1990 to June 1996, and Deputy Superintendent at the Office of Business Service from July 1988 to September 1990.

Octavio Visiedo completed their education with a High School Diploma from Miami Springs Senior High School in 1968. Octavio then pursued higher education at the University of Miami, where they obtained a Bachelor of Arts degree in Political Science and Government in 1972. Octavio continued their studies at the same university and completed a Master of Science degree in Education in 1976.
