Ben van Lierop

Chief Operations Officer at Lives Lived Well

Ben Van Lierop has extensive experience in various leadership and management roles. Ben is currently serving as the Chief Operations Officer at Lives Lived Well, where they oversee finance, asset management, project management, work health and safety, and risk management functions. Prior to this role, they were the Chief Executive Officer at North Sydney Retirement Trust, where they focused on workforce development, consumer experience, and service delivery.

Ben also served as the Executive General Manager People and Culture at RSL LifeCare, where they led initiatives to create an engaged workforce and offer career development opportunities. Ben was the General Manager of Service Innovation & Development at Warrigal, where they led a construction project and implemented new service delivery designs.

Earlier in their career, Ben worked as a General Manager at Bupa Aged, Kingfisher Bay Resort Group, Voyages, and Constellation Hotels and Resorts, where they focused on driving business outcomes, improving performance, and achieving commercial targets.

Ben Van Lierop has a Bachelor's degree in Education from the University of Western Sydney, obtained in 1995. Ben also has a Certificate IV in Business Administration from Charles Darwin University - Centralian College, specializing in Business Administration and Management. Additionally, they hold a Certificate IV in Workplace Training Assessor from the same institution, focusing on Workforce Development and Training. Ben has received several accreditations, including the Accredited Change Manager certification from Prosci Academy People, Change, Results, and the Accredited Conflict Management Coach certification from Resolute Institute. Ben has also completed the Training Instructor Crucial Conversations course from Vital Smarts Australia, with a field of study in Social Science People Management.
