John Wood currently serves as a Senior Platform Data Scientist at LiveRamp since June 2022. Prior to this role, John held the position of Lead Scientist at FICO® from January 2018 to June 2022, focusing on data analytics for decision-making and fraud protection in financial institutions. John has a strong background in particle physics research, having worked as a Postdoctoral Researcher at the University of California, San Diego, where two papers on super-symmetric partner searches were authored, and as a Graduate Research Assistant at the University of Virginia, contributing to significant research on Higgs boson production. Previous experience includes a Research Assistant role at Los Alamos National Laboratory, developing muon tomography techniques for national security applications, and an internship at TranSystems. John Wood earned a PhD in Physics from the University of Virginia and a Bachelor's degree in Physics from UC Berkeley.
