Letisha Thakoordeen, MHA, CEBT, EMT-B, currently serves as a Tissue Recovery Specialist with LiveOnNY, participating in recovery activities while adhering to regulatory standards and supporting the organization’s mission in organ, eye, and tissue donation. With extensive experience at Northwell Health, Letisha has held multiple roles including Program Manager, Quality Management & Regulatory Specialist, and Certified Eye Bank Technician, focusing on the recovery of human specimens and ensuring quality patient care. Previous experience includes roles as Medical Assistant at a private pediatrician's office, Practice Manager and Intake Coordinator at The Psychological Health Collaborative, and Volunteer at the Parker Jewish Institute for Health Care and Rehabilitation. Letisha earned a Master’s degree in Health/Health Care Administration/Management and a Bachelor of Science in Community Health and Preventive Medicine from Hofstra University, alongside a high school diploma in Environmental Health Engineering from Brooklyn Technical High School.
