Dr. Carsten Heldmann is an accomplished leader in the packaging and polymers industry, currently serving as CEO of Liveo Research since May 2020, where the company focuses on innovative packaging solutions for the pharmaceutical sector. Concurrently, Dr. Heldmann holds the position of Non Executive Director at APK AG, which specializes in advanced recycling technology for plastics. Previous roles include President and CEO of Klöckner Pentaplast, Non Executive Director at Petcore Europe, and CEO of Kalle, a major player in FMCG meat packaging. Dr. Heldmann's extensive experience also includes leadership positions at Fiberweb, Fitesa, Celanese, and Clariant, complemented by a strong academic background with a PhD in Plastics/Polymers from the Max-Planck-Institute for Polymer Research and research work at Cambridge University.
