Monica Oakes has a diverse work experience spanning multiple companies. Monica started their career at ArlenGroup as a Benefits Analyst from March 2013 to January 2015. Monica then moved on to Mercer, where they held the positions of Senior Health & Benefits Consulting Analyst from January 2015 to March 2016, and Health & Benefits Consulting Associate from April 2016 to July 2018. Following this, they joined Nua Group LLC as a Consultant from July 2018 to May 2019. Currently, Monica is working at Lively, Inc. as an Associate Product Designer since January 2020, and has recently transitioned to the role of Product Designer in June 2021.

Monica Oakes attended UC Irvine from 2008 to 2012, where they obtained a Bachelor of Arts degree in Public Health. In 2019, they briefly attended Designlab, focusing on UX/UI Design but did not obtain a degree.
