Jason Mardian has a diverse work experience spanning over two decades. Jason is currently working as a Sr. Information Security Manager at Lively, Inc. where they are responsible for implementing and maintaining security policies and procedures, vetting third-party vendors and partners, and identifying and mitigating high-risk activities within the organization.

Prior to their current role, Jason worked at BWX Technologies, Inc. for 12 years. Jason served as an Information Systems Security Officer, where they trained cyber employees on information systems and cybersecurity skills. Jason was also a member of the Cyber Security Incident Response Team and ensured system compliance using NIST 800-53, STIGs, and security plans approved by the Authorizing Official. Additionally, Jason held the position of Information Technology Project Manager at BWX Technologies, Inc., where they oversaw project teams, managed project budgets, and handled various cybersecurity projects.

Before joining BWX Technologies, Inc., Jason worked as a Systems Analyst III at University Health Systems for a brief period in 2010. Jason also served as a Systems Analyst Programmer IV at DSM from 2006 to 2010. Furthermore, they worked as a Senior Programmer Analyst at Strickland Insurance Group from 2001 to 2006 and as a System Specialist at Founders Furniture from 1999 to 2001.

Jason Mardian's education history includes a Bachelor of Science (BS) degree in Management Science and Information Technology from Virginia Tech. After that, they pursued a Bachelor of Business Administration (BBA) degree in International Business from Shenandoah University, which they completed between 1989 and 1993.
