Rohit Turankar has a diverse work experience. Rohit started their career in 2015 as a System Engineer at Tata Consultancy Services. In 2018, they moved to EnterpriseDB as a Data Specialist. Currently, they are working at LiveEO since 2020 as a Software Developer, Master Thesis Student, Working Student in Software Development, and GeoIT Intern. As a Working Student in Software Development, they are orchestrating the integration of LiveEO products on third party ERP platforms such as SAP AIN (Asset Intelligent Network) and Infor EAM. As a GeoIT Intern, they are customizing and cleaning client GIS data for vegetation management and streamlining the ingestion of different satellite imageries to the PostGIS database.

Rohit Turankar's education history includes a Bachelor of Engineering (B.E.) in Electronics and Communication from the Oriental Institute of Science and Technology, which they obtained between 2010 and 2014. Rohit then completed their SSc and HSc in Information Practices, Mathematics, Physics, and Chemistry from Kendriya Vidyalaya between 1998 and 2010. Currently, they are pursuing a Master of Science (MS) in Computer and Information Sciences, General from Rhine-Waal University, which they started in 2019 and is expected to complete in 2022. In addition, Rohit has obtained several certifications, including an AWS Cloud Practitioner from Amazon Web Services (AWS) in July 2020, an Introduction to Programming Using Python from the University of Michigan in February 2020, an IBM Professional Certificate - Data Science from Coursera Course Certificates in December 2019, a Leveraging Unstructured Data with Cloud Dataproc on Google Cloud Platform from Coursera Course Certificates in November 2019, a Google Cloud Platform Big Data and Machine Learning Fundamentals from Coursera Course Certificates in October 2019, an R Programming - Advance Analytics in R for Data Science from Udemy in June 2019, an R Programming A-Z from Udemy in May 2019, a PostgreSQL 10 Associate Certification from EnterpriseDB in November 2018, and an Oracle Autonomous Database Cloud 2019 Certified Specialist from Oracle in April 2020.
