Jan M. Stenzel has over 10 years of professional experience in a variety of roles. In 2021, they began working as the Business Development Lead, EMEA & APAC at LiveEO. Prior to this, they were the Regional Commercial Lead, DACH at Featurespace in 2020. From 2016 to 2020, Jan worked at Dataminr in various roles including Key Account Manager, EMEA Corporate Risk and Associate, Intelligence & Data Analytics. From 2015-2016, Jan worked at Goldman Sachs as an Analyst, EMEA Crisis Management and at Nardello & Co. as an Analyst, Investigations & Due Diligence. From 2012-2015, Jan was the Defence & Security Events Coordinator at Bundesakademie für Sicherheitspolitik and from 2011-2012, they were a Teaching & Research Assistant at Technische Universität Darmstadt.

Jan M. Stenzel obtained a Bachelor of Arts (B.A.) in Political Science from Technische Universität Darmstadt between 2008 and 2013. During 2010 and 2011, Jan M. Stenzel participated in the ERASMUS student exchange program at the Department of International Politics at Aberystwyth University. From 2013 to 2014, Jan M. Stenzel obtained a Master of Letters (M.Litt.) in Security Studies (MECASS) from the University of St Andrews. Jan M. Stenzel also holds certifications in Conceptual Selling and Strategic Selling with Perspective from the Miller Heiman Group, obtained in July 2018. In 2013, Jan M. Stenzel also obtained Modern Standard Arabic I + II from the Saifi Institute for Arabic Language.
