David Eduardo Gauna Palacios is an accomplished hotel executive with extensive experience in luxury hospitality management. Currently serving as the Managing Director at Live Aqua Urban Resort México since June 2023, David leads a team that combines modern design with local authenticity across 150 guest rooms. Previously, David held key positions such as Area General Manager and General Manager at W Hotels from February 2020 to February 2023, overseeing multiple properties including W Punta de Mita. From January 2015 to February 2020, David was the Area General Manager and General Manager of the Marriott CasaMagna Puerto Vallarta Resort & Spa, recognized among Mexico's top resorts. Additional experience includes serving as General Manager at Courtyard by Marriott Mexico City Airport and Director of Operations at JW Marriott Mexico City. David holds an MBA from Universidad del Valle de México and a BBA in Hotel Management from Instituto Regiomontano de Hoteleria.
