Sharon Redrobe OBE

Sharon Redrobe OBE has had a diverse and extensive work experience. Sharon currently holds the position of Strategic Zoological Consultant at the Zoological Society of East Anglia. Prior to this, they served as the Director of The Women of the Year Luncheon and Awards, where they played a pivotal role in promoting positive female role models and raising funds for charities. Sharon also held the position of Director at Little Soap Company.

In the field of zoos and wildlife conservation, Sharon Redrobe has been actively involved. Sharon served as a Communication committee member at the European Association of Zoos and Aquaria (EAZA). Sharon also chaired the Board of Trustees at Ape Action Africa, demonstrating their commitment to wildlife conservation efforts.

Additionally, Sharon Redrobe has made valuable contributions to academia. Sharon worked as an Honorary Associate Professor at The University of Nottingham School of Veterinary Medicine and Science, where they delivered lectures and directed the Ape Heart Project. Sharon Redrobe OBE pursued their education in a chronological manner, beginning in 1988. Sharon attended the Royal Veterinary College, University of London from 1988 to 1994, where they obtained a RCVS Degree in Veterinary Medicine. During their time at the Royal Veterinary College, they also pursued an additional degree at King's College London. From 1990 to 1991, they attended King's College London and earned a BSc (Hons) in Biomedical Science through an intercalated degree program.
