Michelle Amand has worked for several companies in various roles. In 2014, they began their professional career as a Finance Intern at Fragomen, Del Rey, Bernsen & Loewy. In 2015, they became a Summer Analyst at Bank of America Merrill Lynch in the Acquisition Financing and Loan Syndication department. Michelle then continued at Bank of America Merrill Lynch from 2016-2022, where they held the roles of Investment Banking Associate in Leveraged Finance and Investment Banking Analyst in Acquisition Financing and Loan Syndication. In 2022, they became a Volunteer Crisis Counselor at Crisis Text Line, and in 2023 they were appointed Operations Manager at Little Otter. Michelle also participated in The Commons program in 2022, where they were a Strategy & Operations Mentee.

Michelle Amand attended Washington Township High School from 2008 to 2012. Michelle then went on to pursue a Bachelor's Degree in Finance and Psychology from Wake Forest University from 2012 to 2016.
