Caitlin Newcomb Ginwala has over 10 years of work experience in the mental health field. Caitlin began their career in 2011 as an APSS Clinician and In-Home Outreach Counselor at Valley Trauma Center, providing home-based Family Preservation services in the San Fernando Valley for children and families involved with the Department of Children and Family Services. In 2013, they joined Children's Bureau as a Day Treatment Intensive Therapist and Outpatient Therapist. In 2016, they became an Outpatient Therapist at The Help Group. In 2017, they joined Magellan Health as a Triage Care Manager, monitoring inpatient, residential, and outpatient level of care services related to mental health and substance abuse treatment to ensure medical necessity and effectiveness. In 2019, they worked as a Licensed Mental Health Clinician at the County of San Diego and as an Independent Contractor and Program Supervisor at Children's Bureau. Currently, they are an Associate Director of Therapy, Clinical Manager, and Clinician at Little Otter.
Caitlin Newcomb Ginwala received their Bachelor of Arts in Psychology from California State University, Northridge in 2010, and their Master of Science in Marriage and Family Therapy/Counseling from California State University, Northridge in 2012.
