Brian Curin

CEO/CMO, Co-Founder & Director at Little Kitchen Academy

Brian Curin has a diverse work experience spanning multiple industries. In 2002, they became a partner at Bahama Buck's Franchise Corporation before moving on to Cold Stone Creamery in 1996, where they served as the Head of Brand & Marketing and Master Franchise Partner for the Caribbean. During their time at Cold Stone Creamery, they grew the franchise system from 75 to 1,000 units and built the company's first million-dollar location.

In 2004, Curin joined Moe's Southwest Grill as a Partner and Head of Brand & Marketing, overseeing franchise development, marketing, and branding for the entire Raving Brands portfolio. Brian then co-founded Flip Flop Shops in 2007, where they served as President, CEO, and Co-Founder. Under their leadership, Flip Flop Shops became one of the fastest-growing and best-in-class retail chains globally.

In 2013, Curin joined CurioLogie Investment Group's Board of Directors, where they helped develop new territories and regions for franchise concepts. Brian also co-founded Little Kitchen Academy in 2018, serving as the CEO/CMO, Co-Founder & Director. Little Kitchen Academy is a Montessori-inspired cooking academy aimed at teaching practical life skills and promoting healthy eating habits to children.

Curin has also held advisory and directorial positions in other organizations. Brian served as a Director on the Board of Directors for Incisive Genetics and ChopValue. Brian also became a Faculty Advisory Board Member for the UBC Faculty of Land and Food Systems in 2022. Additionally, Curin was a Presidents Council Member at Fulmer & Company from 2021 to 2022.

Throughout their career, Curin has demonstrated their expertise in franchise development, brand strategy, marketing, and business leadership.

Brian Curin attended Columbia College Chicago from 1993 to 1996, where they pursued a degree in Marketing-Brand Management and focused on Brand Management. In 2001, they completed the MAP (Management Action Program), although no degree or field of study is specified for this program. In the same year, they also participated in the Karass Negotiating program. Additionally, in 1996, Brian Curin studied at Eco-Escuela in San Andres, Guatemala, focusing on Spanish/Latin American Business.
