Deya Muniz is an accomplished creator and author with extensive experience in sequential art and storytelling. Currently serving as a creator at WEBTOON since April 2020 and an author at Little, Brown and Company since November 2019, Muniz has a strong background in mentoring and education, having worked as a graduate mentor at Savannah College of Art and Design from September 2017 to May 2019, as well as a graduate teaching intern. Previous roles include cartoonist positions at Webtoon Entertainment Inc. and ImagineFX, and a game design internship where Deya led an interdisciplinary team in video game development. Deya Muniz holds a Master of Fine Arts in Sequential Art from Savannah College of Art and Design and a Bachelor's degree in Game and Interactive Media Design from Pontifícia Universidade Católica do Rio de Janeiro.
