Benjamin Larkin has a diverse work experience in the technology and electronics industry. Benjamin started their career at Sherman's as a Branch Manager, where they were responsible for the day-to-day operations and bookkeeping of the branch. Benjamin later became the Custom Installation and Sales Manager, leading the creation and management of a custom electronics design and installation division.
In 2007, Benjamin joined ListenUp as a Project Manager, Systems Engineer, and Sales Consultant. Benjamin managed technical resource assets and engineering teams across multiple business units, working on projects ranging from moderate implementations to multi-million dollar designs. Benjamin then became the Director of Technical Operations, where they developed and implemented operational strategies for providing technical and engineering services to residential and commercial clients. Later on, they served as the Vice President and General Manager, overseeing the residential, commercial, technical, and logistical business units.
Currently, Benjamin holds the position of President at ListenUp, demonstrating their growth within the company. Benjamin is responsible for executive oversight, financial planning, performance goals, strategic planning, business development, and coordination with the executive team.
Benjamin Larkin's education history includes a Master of Business Administration (M.B.A.) degree in Executive Leadership, Strategy, Finance & Statistics from the University of Colorado Boulder. Benjamin also holds a Bachelor of Science degree in Electrical Engineering (BSEE) from the University of Colorado Denver. In addition to their formal education, Benjamin has obtained various certifications in the field. The institutions from which they obtained these certifications vary and include InfoComm International, CEDIA, Cisco, Crestron Electronics, the New Mexico Regulation & Licensing Department, the State of Hawaii, the Federal Communications Commission, imaging science solutions, the American Lighting Association, and THX Ltd.
