Gilles ADDA has extensive experience in the fields of computer science and ethics, currently serving as the Head of the Models, Methods, and Multilingualism team (M³) and the Head of the Language Sciences and Technologies Department at LISN, following the merger of LIMSI and LRI in January 2021. Additionally, Gilles ADDA is actively involved in various ethical committees, including CESREES, CNPEN, and COMETS, providing insights on health data usage and addressing ethical challenges in digital and artificial intelligence domains. Educational qualifications include a Habilitation à diriger des recherches in Computer Science from Paris-Sud University and a Docteur-Ingénieur in Computer Science from Université Paris XI, complemented by an engineering degree in Solid Mechanics from Centrale Lyon. Previous roles include Director at IMMI-CNRS and Research Engineer at the Ministry of Culture and Communication.
