Farouk Elabbassi is an experienced IT project manager with a strong background in business analysis. Farouk has worked in various industries including technology, telecommunications, logistics, and healthcare. Farouk has a PMP certification and an MBA degree.

Starting from 2011, Farouk worked as an IT Healthcare Project Manager and Business Analyst at NCR Corporation, where they supported multiple projects for different customers. At Geolink Inc., they served as a Project Manager and Business Analyst, overseeing website development, server assignments, and general IT services.

Farouk then joined Hewlett-Packard as a Project Manager and Business Analyst, where they played a crucial role in retiring printing division applications and consolidating them into a single customizable application. Their responsibilities included requirements gathering, software development, testing, and project management.

At Crane Worldwide Logistics, Farouk worked as a Project Manager and Business Analyst, supervising cross-functional teams and prioritizing projects related to database integration and compliance. Farouk then worked as an Independent Consultant, providing project management and business analysis services to a variety of small and medium-sized companies.

Farouk further expanded their expertise as a Project Manager and Business Analyst at CourthouseDirect.com, Inc., where they managed projects and conducted business analysis tasks.

In 2018, Farouk joined AT&T as a Project Manager, leading infrastructure and MetaBOT projects using Agile, Scrum, and Waterfall methodologies. Farouk also created project plans and statements of work for all projects.

In 2019, Farouk worked as a Project Manager at DHI Telecom Group, focusing on establishing a Project Management Office. Farouk collaborated with internal and external resources to execute projects within budget and scope.

At PreCheck, Farouk served as a Global Information Technology Project Manager, responsible for centralizing and standardizing the company's mission and vision across different divisions internally and externally. Farouk coordinated the completion of clients' programs, organized new programs, and supported strategic direction.

Currently, Farouk is employed at Liquid Technologies as a PMO and Business Development professional, utilizing their skills to contribute to the company's growth and development.

Farouk Elabbassi (PMP, MBA) obtained their Master of Business Administration (MBA) from the University of Houston-Victoria in 2020, with a specialization in Business Administration and Management. Prior to that, they earned an MBA from the University of Phoenix in 2014, also in Business Administration and Management.

In terms of their undergraduate studies, Farouk completed a Bachelor of Applied Science (BASc) in Computer/Information Technology Administration and Management at the University of Houston from 2004 to 2006. Before pursuing their bachelor's degree, they obtained an Associate of Arts and Sciences (A.A.S.) from Houston Community College in 2004, with a focus on Associates.

Farouk also holds certifications in project management. Farouk achieved the Project Kick-Off Agile Badge and the Project Kick-Off Waterfall Badge from the Project Management Institute in April 2023. Additionally, they became a certified Project Management Professional (PMP) in December 2022, obtaining this designation from the Project Management Institute.

Furthermore, Farouk has additional educational experiences in various fields. Farouk earned a degree in Phlebotomy from Westpark Institute in 2002. In 2000, they pursued Arabic & History Studies at Al-Jâmi'ah Al-Lubnaniya. Lastly, they received a degree in Business Administration from the American University of Technology in 2000.
