Fred Roozeboom

Fred Roozeboom is a distinguished professional in the field of chemical technology and materials science, currently serving as a Professor at the University of Twente since October 2021, focusing on inorganic membranes for gas separation, catalysis, and green energy applications. As a Research Fellow at LionVolt B.V., Fred Roozeboom is involved in developing pilot line production for 3D all-solid-state Li-ion batteries. Previously, Fred Roozeboom held a professorship at Eindhoven University of Technology for over 14 years, addressing diverse topics including thin-film and plasma processing, 3D Li-ion batteries, and CMOS IC manufacturing, while also advising several PhD graduates. During a tenure at TNO as a Senior Technical Advisor, expertise in spatial Atomic Layer Processing was developed.
