Tania Weets currently serves as Senior Director of Benefits at Lionsgate, having advanced through multiple roles within the organization since June 2017. Responsibilities include managing comprehensive health, welfare, and retirement plans while ensuring compliance for all employees. Key projects led by Tania include process improvements in Leave of Absence management, Total Compensation Statements, and enhancements in family benefits. Prior to Lionsgate, Tania held various positions at Hitachi Data Systems, specializing in U.S. and Canada benefits, and was project manager for compliance initiatives related to the Affordable Care Act. Tania's academic background includes an MBA in Human Resources from Willamette University and a Bachelor's Degree in Liberal Arts and Education from Oregon State University. Leadership experience also extends to roles such as President of the SHRM Student Chapter and Graduate Assistant during graduate studies.
