Colleen Duewel, MPH, is a seasoned eldercare consultant and care manager, currently serving as the Founder of LionHeart Eldercare Consulting since 2018. With a focus on aiding individuals in navigating health care and aging support, Colleen provides essential services including creating home care plans, facilitating transitions from hospitals, and connecting clients with medical and legal specialists. Colleen is also an accomplished speaker, certified by the Alzheimer's Association, delivering training on dementia care and aging strategies. Additional experience includes roles such as Support Group Facilitator for a dementia care partner group at Virginia Hospital Center, and past positions in education and program management within health systems and mental health organizations. Colleen holds a Master's degree in Public Health from the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill and a Bachelor of Arts in Psychology and Sociology from the University of Montana.
