Ben Walker is a seasoned data management professional with extensive experience in the finance and consultancy sectors. Currently serving as Data Director at Lion since July 2022, Ben previously held roles as Senior Data Specialist at Fifth Logic and Principal Consultant at Burbrick Solutions Pty Ltd, where responsibilities included enterprise data management and leadership in complex data transformation projects. Ben spent over a decade at Macquarie Group in various senior positions, including Group Data Officer and Global Head of Data Management and Reconciliations, overseeing critical data services across the organization. Prior to this, Ben served as Executive Director at UBS Investment Bank, engaging in multiple operational roles with a focus on data management and risk. Ben's academic background includes a Bachelor of Music in Contemporary Performance from the Australian Institute of Music and a BA (Hons) in Economics from the University of Durham.
