Amber Forde is an experienced educational leader currently serving as Assistant Headteacher at Sybourn Primary School within Lion Academy Trust since September 2016. Amber has a strong background in leading Early Years and Key Stage One, holding significant roles such as Deputy Designated Safeguarding Lead and Lead Moderator for Waltham Forest. Additional experience includes providing expert guidance for the Department for Education's Early Years Covid Recovery Programme and serving as Key Stage One Moderator for the London Borough of Waltham Forest. Amber's teaching career began as a Primary Teacher at St Edward's Primary School, where responsibilities included being a Reception Class Teacher and Music Subject Lead. Educational qualifications include a BA (Hons) in Primary Education from the University of Roehampton, an MA in Literacy Learning and Literacy Difficulties from IOE - UCL, and ongoing postgraduate studies in Special Education and Teaching at Bath Spa University.
