Roberto Giorgio Rizzo, PhD, serves as a Senior AI Software Engineer at Links Management and Technology SpA since April 2023, focusing on deep learning applications in bioacoustics and energy asset management, among other AI domains. Previous experience includes a Postdoctoral Research Fellow position at Politecnico di Torino from February 2014 to December 2022, where research encompassed edge AI, machine learning, and predictive maintenance with significant contributions reflected in 18 publications. Rizzo holds a PhD in Control and Computer Engineering, a Master's degree in Electronic Engineering with a specialization in Embedded Systems, and a Bachelor's degree in Electronic Engineering, all from Politecnico di Torino.
