Marco Mezzalama has had a diverse work experience. Marco started in 2002 as a founding member of the TOP-IX Consortium, where they served on the Board of Directors. In 2014, they became Vice President of the Compagnia di San Paolo until 2016. In 2018, they took on new roles as President of the LINKS Foundation, Vice President of the Accademica delle Scienze, and in 2020, they became a Professor Emeritus of Computer Systems at the Politecnico di Torino.

Marco Mezzalama attended Politecnico di Torino from 1967 to 1972, where they pursued a degree in INGEGNERIA ELETTRONICA.
