Claudio Pastrone is an experienced professional in the field of Internet of Things (IoT) and pervasive technologies, currently serving as Program Manager for IoT-enabled Autonomous Systems and Head of the Pervasive Technologies Research Area at LINKS Foundation since January 2019. Prior to this role, Claudio held significant positions at ISMB from February 2005 to December 2018, including Head of the Pervasive Technologies Research Area and Head of the Pervasive Secure Networks research unit, focusing on innovative communication networks and technologies for IoT. Claudio began a research career as a Project Manager at the Pervasive Radio Technologies Lab and earlier worked as a Temporary Research Fellow at Politecnico di Torino and as a researcher at CNIT, tackling various aspects of wireless communications and security. Claudio holds a degree from Politecnico di Torino, completed in 2002.
